“You’ve wimped it”: Neil Mitchell grills Liberal MP over petrol prices

Neil Mitchell has grilled Liberal MP Craig Kelly for “wimping it” on petrol prices.

Mr Kelly has been quoted saying the government “must consider” reducing or cutting the fuel excise.

However, he backed away from the idea on 3AW Mornings.

He said the government couldn’t afford it.

“You’ve wimped it,” Neil Mitchell said.

“You have totally wimped it.

“Have they sat on you?

“Has somebody from the Prime Minister’s office rung you?”
