3AW Drive made the trip out to Pearcedale this week and one issue seemed to be most pressing.

A flashing speed limit sign is needed outside the local primary school.

Tom Elliott spoke with Pearcedale Primary principal Simon Anderson, who said cars and trucks regularly flew past at 80km/h when they should be travelling at 40.

“It’s a huge danger for the 800 children at our school,” he explained.
