Your Town: 3AW Drive visits Carlton

Melbourne Coffee Week is upon us, so it only made sense that Your Town visited Carlton.

3AW Drive producer Alyssa Allen asked the locals how you know you’re in Carlton. Answers included:

• You hear people speaking (sometimes shouting) in Italian;
   
• You’re eating cake in Brunetti’s;
  ?
• You’re approached by men in the street ushering you into their restaurant.

Giancarlo Giusti, the founder of Grinders Coffee, is a Carlton institution, who believes true coffee is an espresso.

And he says coffee art is overrated.

‘The best design you can make is a good cup of coffee,’ he said.
