Yoga instructor left ‘disheartened’ after council slaps fee on community classes
A yoga instructor offering free outdoor classes has been left “disheartened” after the City of Port Phillip council slapped a surprise $400 fee on her service.
An event born out of COVID, Eliza Hilmer founded Feel Good Flows, promoting wellness in the local community.
But she’s now been told that she’ll have to shell out hundreds of dollars to keep running the community-based event.

“I’m really disheartened,” she told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
“I’m looking a service that is beautiful, let’s collaborate to make it bigger and better but apparently we’re divided on that.”
