Yarraville parking meters to be switched off

A cease fire has been called in the Yarraville parking meter war.

They’ve been switched off until at least February 29.

Maribyrnong Council reportedly voted unaminously on a decision today to suspend the meters, which have been a source of controversy.

Paid parking in Footscray’s CBD has also been suspended.
