Tom Elliott has slammed the Merri-bek City Council after he was leaked a motion to be put forward, relating to the war in the Middle East.

“This thing is wrong on so many levels,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“This has nothing to do with local government!”

Socialist Alliance Councillor for Merri-bek City Council Sue Bolton, who submitted the motion, then joined 3AW Mornings and Tom Elliott certainly didn’t go easy on her!

“Your council can have absolutely no impact on this situation, so why bother with motions like this?” Elliott asked councillor Bolton.
