British naturalist Steve Backshall has provided a fascinating insight into his job, opening up on the thrill of being in nature every day.

The globally-renowned presenter of BBC’s Deadly, Mr Backshall is back in Australia for a run of interactive shows later this month.

Joining Shane McInnes in the studio on 3AW Afternoons, he said he’s encountered a wide range of animals during his time.
