The shelves at Woolworths stores across Victoria continue to remain empty due to an ongoing strike by workers within their distribution centres.

Over 1500 workers have walked off the job, with Woolworths failing to meet the workers demands which is better pay and working conditions.

Logistics Director at the United Workers Union Dario Mujkic joined 3AW Mornings and explained the reasons for the strike by Woolworths employees.

“Our members felt like they had no choice but to withdraw their labour,” Mujkic said on 3AW Mornings.
