Woolworths spreads Christmas cheer with kind gesture to customer

A shopper received a welcome surprise at Woolworths in Burwood this morning!

Karen told several other customers to go in front of her at the checkout, then she was approached by the store manager, who offered to pay for the Christmas items in her trolley.

“He just said it’s an initiative that Woolworths is having to try and get the Christmas cheer and the Christmas spirit up!,” she told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
