Woman wrestles for control of car during terrifying Broadmeadows carjacking

A woman has been forced to wrestle back control of her vehicle during an alleged carjacking in Melbourne’s north.

Two children were in the car at the time of the incident at Broadmeadows around 5.30pm on Wednesday.

The vehicle crossed onto the wrong side of the road and crashed into fencing.

Passers-by helped detain the suspect until police arrived.

Thankfully no-one was injured.

An 18-year-old man has been charged and will face court today.
