Woman found dead inside Richmond house

A 75-year-old man has been arrested over the death of a woman at Richmond.

The woman, 49, was found after paramedics responded to reports of a stabbing on Westbank Terrance at about 4pm on Tuesday.

The alarm was raised when the woman failed to show up for work.

She couldn’t be revived.

Police have since arrested a 75-year-old man.

They’re still keen to speak with any witnesses, or anyone with information.
