Woman fights for life after being thrown from car at Thomastown

A woman is fighting for life after she was thrown from her car at Thomastown this morning.

The horror smash happened on the Hume Freeway around 2.30am.

Paramedics took 15 minutes to find the woman after arriving at the scene.

She was found some distance from her car.

The woman has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
