A windy night across Victoria has seen wide spread damage and dozens of trees down, with the SES receiving more than one thousand calls for help.

More than 130,000 homes and businesses are without power, with some schools closed today due to the wild weather.

“A very, very busy night for our volunteers,” Kate Turner, SES state duty officer, told Ross and Russ.
