Wild storm floods parts of Melbourne Airport
Wild weather has lashed parts of Melbourne, with Tullamarine Airport hit particularly hard.
Parts of Terminal 1 flooded and lightning forced the delay of some flights.
Melbourne Airport spokesperson Andrew Lund said the airport is “a little bit damp”.
“There have been a lot of leaks and we’ve got a lot of tiles,” he told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
“Water and tiles are obviously not a great mix when you’ve got a lot of people walking around.”
