Australia is about to be hit by a footy boot shortage, on the eve of the season.

Supply chain issues in South East Asia are behind the problem.

The shortage has led to one leading sports retailers temporarily suspending online sales of football boots.

“It’s really unfortunate,” Campbell Davies, General Manager of SportsPower Australia, told Tom Elliott.
