Why Tom Elliott has called Anthony Albanese out for being ‘disingenuous’

Tom Elliott has weighed in on Anthony Albanese’s stance on public holiday and weekend surcharges, with the Prime Minister questioning whether cafes and restaurants should be hitting customers with the surcharges.
The 3AW Mornings host called out Albanese, stating the Prime Minister can’t have it both ways.
“So for Albo to say I want workers to get more money, but I don’t want businesses to charge extra is just disingenuous,” he said.
