Why the trade industry is in ‘crisis mode’
Australian Builders Collective President, Phil Dwyer, has admitted the trade industry is in “crisis mode”, especially after the collapse of construction giant Porter Davis last week, and has pleaded for assistance from the government to solve the issue.
“I would ask premier Andrews to step up to the plate and do something about this,” Mr Dwyer told Tony Jones, filling in for Tom Elliott.
“We need this industry to be rejigged and reshaped.”
