Why the loss of Nathan Murphy is ‘extremely significant’ for Collingwood
The loss of Nathan Murphy to Collingwood’s side has been labelled “extremely significant” by 3AW sports reporter Jon “Ando” Anderson.
Murphy announced his retirement yesterday at the age of 24 due to concussion issues, playing his last game in the 2023 AFL Grand Final.
Anderson said Murphy’s absence is “enough to make the difference in terms of whether you win a close game or not, and that could be a final”.
