Why Paris Olympics has been even more special for Jess Fox

Jess Fox has won her second gold medal at these Olympics, defending her C1 canoe slalom title from Tokyo three years ago.

Fox’ father Richard has been in commentary for Channel 9, providing the soundtrack for his daughter’s successes in Paris.

While Richard Fox called remotely in Tokyo, he’s been on the ground in Paris and able to share in the celebrations this week.

“It’s been been so special to share it with our family…the crowd today was incredible. I’ve never seen so much green and yellow at an international race.”
