Why new COVID testing requirements are unlikely to achieve much
Australia’s decision to reintroduce mandatory COVID testing for travellers from China has been branded a “kneejerk” reaction.
“Personally, I just don’t think it’s going to achieve much, at all,” Associate Professor Paul Griffin, who is the Director of Infectious Diseases at Mater Health Services and Professor at the University of Queensland’s School of Medicine, told 3AW Breakfast on Monday.
