Why Nathan Buckley is ‘perfectly poised’ to land the Tasmania Devils head coaching job

The 3AW Football team brought up the discussion of Sydney Swans head coach John Longmire and whether he gets enough credit across his coaching career, which led to who could be the Tasmania Devils’ inaugural head coach.

Sam McClure thinks Nathan Buckley is “perfectly poised” for the role, with Matthew Lloyd also on board with the idea of the Collingwood great returning to coaching.

“I think this is a job for someone like a Nathan Buckley who might want to get back into coaching,” Lloyd said.
