When Dee Dee went outside this morning she was surprised by how hazy the sky was and feared it may have been bushfire smoke.

But senior meteorologist from the Bureau of Meteorology, Christie Johnson, say the haze in the sky this morning wasn’t smoke.

Ms Johnson says the most severe of the fog has probably passed, but there may be “some patches over the next day or two”.
