Jacqui Felgate thinks a leadership spill is almost guaranteed at this point with Sam Groth likely to challenge John Pesutto as soon as next week.

The 3AW Drive host says the Liberal Party needs stability at this stage and has allegedly been blind-sided by Mr Groth’s announcement according to several sources within the party.

“Isn’t this a fascinating development for a Friday? … It looks like a spill will be imminent before Christmas,” she said.
