Why it’s time for ‘everyday shoppers’ to make a stand against major supermarkets
Shane McInnes is calling on “everyday shoppers” to look around and consider going elsewhere to help break the supermarket duopoly.
The federal government has announced $30m of funding to help the ACCC crack down on Coles and Woolworths inflating prices.
Shane said it was time shoppers held major supermarkets to account as the push to drop prices continues.

“For supermarkets to really be put on notice (on their pricing) – it’s up to us,” he said on 3AW Afternoons.
“It’s up to everyday shoppers to make a stand.”
