Catalytic converter thefts are rising but there are concerns victims aren’t reporting to the police.

The head of marketing at the Victorian automotive chamber of commerce, David Dowsey, told Dee Dee that the figures reported are problematic.

“I doubt police have accurate figures, we know it’s an issue, but we don’t know how big an issue it is,” Mr Dowsey said.
