Australian students are missing out when it comes to music education.

But it’s not because it’s been cut from the curriculum.

“The Australian curriculum is good in the sense that it includes music, arts and drama and all those creative things I think we all need, but how it’s implemented is another thing,” Professor Pasi Sahlberg, Professor of Education at Southern Cross University, told Ross and Russel.

“There are simply no music teachers available.”
