Why are fewer Australians travelling to the US right now?

Shane McInnes has labelled any suggestion the United States is unsafe to visit as “fearmongering”.

His comments come as the latest data showed last month saw the biggest dip in the number of Australians opting to visit the US since COVID.

But despite suggestions the drop in tourists is down to Donald Trump’s politics and other safety fears, Shane urged Australians to look beyond politics when choosing their next holiday.

“Those advocating against travel the US, tend to be those who despise his politics,” he said on 3AW.
