Why Anthony Albanese is staying defiant amid latest poll results

Anthony Albanese remains confident Labor will win the upcoming election despite the latest poll results pointing towards a Coalition victory.

Peter Dutton remains on track to become Prime Minister, according a Resolve poll released on Monday.

Despite the numbers, Mr Albanese told Neil Mitchell Asks Why his government remains “incredibly competitive” as the yet-to-be-decided election date draws closer.

“We have been incredibly competitive when governments are under so much pressure around the world,” he said.
