Why a Port Adelaide win over Hawthorn would be Ken Hinkley’s greatest coaching performance

Jimmy Bartel believes a Port Adelaide in Friday night’s Semi Final would be Ken Hinkley’s best win as coach of the club.

Pressure has continued to build on the club after last Thursday night’s heavy Qualifying Final loss to Geelong, with the Power to face a red-hot Hawthorn outfit for a spot in a Preliminary Final.

Bartel said that considering how how vicious the fall out has been after last week’s defeat, a win on Friday would be a triumph for Hinkley.

“You get the sense when you talk to people (at Port Adelaide) that there’s as wide a disconnect in a footy club that I’ve seen,” he said on Wide Wide of Sports.
