When you should start sending packages to ensure they arrive by Christmas
Australia Post says it has all but cleared a backlog of packages that threatened to cause significant delivery lag over the Christmas period.
And with easing COVID-19 isolation requirements, it’s hoped there won’t be any future issues on the same scale.
“We are in really good shape,” Gary Starr, Australia Post’s Executive General Manager, told Neil Mitchell.
“We have largely caught up.
“We are in a really good position.
“Delivery times have improved significantly.”
Mr Starr also shared some tips and advice on when to send packages to ensure they arrive in time for Christmas.
