‘What’s this bloke on!?’: What happened when Ross met Deep Purple at the footy

Years ago, Ross Stevenson and sports reporter Jon ‘Ando’ Anderson found themselves chatting to two Deep Purple band members at the footy, who were shocked by a question Ando asked.

Speaking on his podcast, Ross Recommends, Ross Stevenson revealed Ian Paice and Roger Glover were taken aback by the question: If you had one more show left in you to watch, who would it be?

“One turned to the other as if to say ‘What is this bloke on?!’,” Ross said.

“They both thought it was SO self-evident who it would be.”
