‘What was he doing?’: John Pesutto questions the timing of the Premier’s boozy lunch

Opposition leader John Pesutto has admitted he doesn’t have a problem with Premier Daniel Andrews and his wife attending a Malvern pub, but is “concerned” with the timing of it.
The Premier and his wife attended the Jim Barry Winemaker’s Lunch at the Malvern Hotel on July 14 in the middle of critical deliberations about ditching the Commonwealth Games, and just days after issuing a warning to his colleagues saying “if you want to go to the pub, then do it in your own time.”
“What was he doing?” Pesutto told Neil Mitchell.
