What Tom Elliott wants to happen following the Phillip Island beach tragedy

Tom Elliott has stated swimming lessons should become compulsory in high schools in Australia, following the drownings at Forrest Caves beach in Phillip Island yesterday.

The 3AW Mornings host was left “horrified” when he found out the news, and claims “it’s time we bit the bullet on swimming”.

“It’s just an essential life skill,” Elliott said.
