What Tom Elliott is certain will happen at the next federal election

Tom Elliott is more certain than ever that the next federal election will result in a Labor Greens hung parliament.

It comes after the latest Newspoll results, which shows Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s approval rating has slumped to 40 per cent, the same rating former Prime Minister Scott Morrison had in May 2022 before the last federal election.

“This is not a theoretical exercise now in things that may or may not happen, it is the reality,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

Director at RedBridge Group Australia, Kos Samaras, then explained why Albanese’s popularity has plummeted as well as weighing in on Tom Elliott’s prediction for the next election.

“Unless something drastically happens, that is true,” Mr Samaras said.
