What Matthew Lloyd wants Christian Petracca to do amid trade speculation

Matthew Lloyd is urging Melbourne superstar Christian Petracca to come out publicly and end the current talk around his future.

Nine News‘ Tom Morris is continuing to report that Petracca wants a trade, despite having five years left on his contract.

After the 28-year-old addressed the speculation with teammates at a meeting on Monday, Lloyd told Wide World of Sports it was now time for Petracca to clarify things in a public forum.

“He needs to come out and end this for the sake of his football club,” Lloyd said on 3AW.

“This is as big as I can remember with the quality of player Christian Petracca is.”
