Matthew Lloyd says Essendon supporters can “trust” their team for the first time in years.

“Turning up and knowing what you’re going to get, that’s all you can ask for as a supporter,” he said on 3AW Football after the Bombers sunk the Blues on Sunday night.

“It’s what Bombers supporters have been crying out for.”
