What Jeff Kennett would do if he was in Brad Battin’s position at the next state election

Former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett has been questioned on what he would do if he was in state opposition leader Brad Battin’s position heading into the next state election.
Kennett also announced what he would say publicly in Battin’s position, alluding to the current Premier in Jacinta Allan, specifically in regards to the Suburban Rail Loop.
“We’ve got to address the simple things,” Kennett told Tom Elliott.

The former Premier also explained why he wants to pause immigration for two years, as well as his thoughts on Donald Trump’s tariffs announcement.
“We have got to pause what I call ‘generalised immigration’ for a couple of years, but allow in and encourage qualified teachers, qualified nurses, qualified doctors and of course tradesmen and women”
