What drives Emma McKeon (and why her brother expects her to be more determined than ever)

Emma McKeon’s brother says he’s expecting her to be more driven for success than ever before after the swimming star became the most successful athlete in Commonwealth Games history.

McKeon won her 11th gold medal, taking her past the likes of Ian Thorpe, Susie O’Neil and Leisel Jones.

She’s only 28.

Speaking on 3AW, McKeon’s brother, David, a former Olympic swimmer himself, said she had her sights firmly set on the Paris Olympic Games.

“I think she will come home from this even more determined,” he said.
