What Australia can learn from Singapore as it ‘moves on’ from COVID-19
A Melburnian who has lived in Singapore for two decades says COVID-19 is no longer front of mind for most people as a largely vaccinated population moves on with life.
“Things are starting to get back to normal,” Rebecca, who works in the food industry and is currently in Melbourne, told Neil Mitchell.
“They have really adopted the no jab, no entry (policy) and are really getting back to normal and businesses are getting back to normal.
“They’ve got 79 per cent vaccination rate.”
She said the government sent a message out every day, informing the public how many people had died from COVID-19, or were in hospital.
They no longer report case numbers.
