West Coast great surprised full time coach hasn’t been confirmed for 2025

West Coast great and 2024 premiership cup ambassador Josh Kennedy admits he’s surprised his former club hasn’t locked in a coach for 2025 yet.

The Eagles are still on the lookout for Adam Simpson’s replacement, with the likes of Hayden Skipworth and Andrew McQualter in the frame for the job.

Kennedy – who joined Ross and Russ in the studio with the premiership cup on Thursday – said the current period at West Coast without a coach was “very difficult”.

“It’s very difficult,” he said on 3AW.

“I thought they might have locked someone down by now.”
