West Coast CEO confirms key detail in departure of Adam Simpson

West Coast coach Don Pyke has confirmed Adam Simpson will be paid out the remainder of his contract following his departure.

The Eagles and Simpson opted to part ways on Tuesday, ending a tenure which is highlighted by the club’s premiership in 2018.

Pyke confirmed on Wide World of Sports Simpson – who was contracted until the end of 2025 – will be fully paid out.

“He (will get a full pay out),” he told Sam McClure and Leigh Matthews on 3AW.

“We’ll honour his contract in the next year and we’ll see what we can do with regard to what the soft cap will look like.”
