‘We were so lucky’: Brighton mother recounts aggravated burglary at family home

Brighton resident and mother Rachel joined 3AW Drive and recounted the traumatic aggravated burglary her family experienced in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Her son woke up at around 3:15am to noises downstairs, which was five offenders holding knives who entered the Brighton home stealing car keys and attempting to flee police in the vehicle.

“My youngest is finding it the hardest because he was the one who woke up to it,” Rachel said on 3AW Drive.
