AFL CEO Andrew Dillon says the league will strongly deny the historic racism claims made by the Krakouer brothers.

The class action – which names Kevin Sheedy and Terry Daniher – has alleged that the league didn’t support its indigenous players in the 1980s.

“We look at this class action and take it seriously,” Dillon told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.

“But this is talking about historic events – we’ll look at them but we’ve been really clear that we don’t agree with the claims.”

In a wide-ranging interview, Dillon also spoke about concussion issues and whether Opening Round will make a return in 2025.
