Warrandyte youngster ‘devastated’ by theft of racing gear
Neil Mitchell has been sent footage of a theft of some elite go-karting gear from a house in Warrandyte.
Scott told Neil Mitchell thieves have stolen an engine, as wheel as wheels, equipment and boxes of tools worth $7000.
His son Rees is devastated after the burglary.
“He’s starting to compete at state level,” he said.
“He was really enjoying it, it’s been a little bit of a downer.”
He was due to compete in a race this weekend, and Scott says he’s still going to race with a bit of help from the go-karting community.
