Warning to Victorians after paddle-boarder found dead at Lysterfield Lake
Authorities are warning Victorians to monitor the conditions before heading out into inland waterways such as rivers and lakes.
It comes after the body a 38-year-old stand-up paddle-boarder was pulled from Lysterfield Lake on Saturday night, following a six and a half hour search.
There have been 29 drownings in inland waterways in Victoria since November.
Life Saving Victoria’s Kane Treloar urged Victorians to “make sure you’re wearing a lifejacket or floatation device” when around waterways.
