Warning to morning motorists on Monash Freeway

At least half a dozen motorists have flat tyres, with concerns something has been left on the Monash Freeway.

Callers to 3aW breakfast are warning motorists heading inbound to stay right hand lane near Huntingdale Road.

It’s impacting inbound traffic.

“There must be something on the road in the left or middle lane,” one caller said.

VicRoads is investigating reports that tacks were deliberately placed on the freeway.
