Vocal Voice opponent takes swipe at Victoria ahead of referendum

One of Australia’s most vocal opponents of the Indigenous Voice to Parliament has taken a swipe at Victoria in the lead-up to the referendum.

Jacinta Nampijinpa Price was asked on 3AW why polls showed stronger support for the Indigenous Voice in Victoria, compared with NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.

“Victoria is one of those difficult states where everything is about ideology and not common sense,” she said.
