Vince Colosimo escapes jail after being caught driving on ice

Vince Colosimo has been spared jail time after pleading guilty to driving on a suspended licence while under the influence of ice.

The Australian actor was pulled over by police on Exhibition Street on March 5.

A quick check of his registration plate showed his licence had been suspended.

The magistrate said Colosimo should not have been on the road.

He was fined $3500 and stripped of his licence for five months.
