Video shows V/Line conductor’s violent attack on passenger
Footage has emerged on social media of a V/Line conductor kicking and punching a passenger at a rural train station.
The video, posted on Facebook, shows the violent fight at Broadford in central Victoria.
The passenger is accused of assaulting a woman on the train earlier, but questions have been raised over the conductor’s response to the incident.

The staff member has been stood down while V/Line investigates.
Tony Morton from the Public Transport Users Association said it was concerning.
‘Obviously the response there was quite obviously wrong,’ he said.
‘What should have happened there was if there was a passenger assaulting people, there should have been police summoned to the station at Broadford to deal with the situation.
‘The appropriate response there is to call in a police back-up, certainly we don’t want the law of the jungle out there.’
