VIDEO: ‘Incredible’ meteor spotted shooting across sky above Melbourne

Did you spot a meteor shooting across the sky last night?

It shot across the sky from the south to south-west at 6.56pm.

It was captured on film at Narre Warren by Brian Paton.

“I hadn’t seen one this big or long before,” he told Tony Jones.

“It definitely was a meteor.”

Lachlan was walking his dog in Pakenham when he spotted it.

“This thing just kept getting bigger and bigger!,” he said.

“It was incredible to see. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
